I have just returned to Mallorca by air after a wonderful trip with JOYVELA and a crew of 3 to Croatia via Tunisia, Malta, and Corfu. Next cruise will start 2 June, together with a professional cook and a Swiss/English couple, we will explore the Croatian and Greek archipelagos before returning to Palma de Mallorca by the end of the month. Looking for a competent sailor to share these, and future great times with.
I picked up JOYVEA from the yard in Sweden in June 2020. Had a fantastic sail down to Mallorca (where I have been living for the past 17 years) in the middle of the pandemic and hardly meet any other boats. Felt like we were the only living sailors around… Exceptional experience. Now we have started season 3, and so far, have sailed a total of almost 8’000 miles. The ultimate challenge will be to sail her to Victoria, BC which is her home port. This will take us around South America either in September this year, or possibly the next (pending progress of my building projects – I am a semi-retired developer). I plan for that trip to take 8 months, spending Christmas in Stanley (Falklands), January in Patagonia, 2-3 weeks in Galapagos, stops in Costa Rica, West coast of Mexico, Cabo San Luca, San Diego, etc. Hopefully, my two daughters (one living with her family in Victoria, the other in San Jose, CA) will join me for parts of this trip of a lifetime.
