Solo Steward/ess - Temporary / Seasonal - €35 per charter - Spain
Duration: From Mid May to Mid October will be your primary months
Experience: The ideal candidate would have to be qualified to the standard of RYA Day Skipper commercially endorsed or the equivalent according to where you qualified. Food handling certificate essential.

Job Overview:
The steward would be 100% responsible for the organisation and cleanliness of the yacht(s) interior.
You would report directly to your captain. You would make sure the yacht is ready to charter in regards to having a full food & beverage stock. All heads are cleaned to company standard, all public areas below are guest ready. After each charter day you would take an inventory in which you would send to head office. If the skipper is collecting guests or unable to prepare the topside of the yacht the steward would prepare the whole yacht for charter which means making sure the deck and top side are also clean and all lines prepared for departure. You will also be required to assist the skipper with the practical sailing side of the charter and whist docking.
The role will be very reactive due to the nature of the charter business in Marbella. At times you could be working 7 days a week. Cleanliness and maintenance will be down to you. Typically in the high season months of July and August you will be doing two four hour charters per day.
Taking up to ten guests per charter.
We run a variety of charters, full day of 6 hours, half day of 4 hours and sunset charters of 3 hours. How ever there will also be overnight charters and the possibility of international and longer domestic charters.
We run both private and mixed charters.
Guest safety and satisfaction will always be your main priority.
If you are a steward applying from outside the European Union it will be your own responsibility to organise relevant visas and permits to work in Europe (Spain).
Due to Marbella having a very strong high season you would have to commit to the length of the contract 100%.
Payment:
Half day charter (4 hours) 35.00€
Full day charter (6 hours) 55.00€
2.5/3 hour Sunset charter 25.00€
Double charter 60.00€
There is also an option for the applicant to up sell the company from a stand in front of the boat where the applicant will receive 10% of all bookings made. This will be done in the persons own time outside of charter hours.
