1st Mate - Permanent - Min exp 5 years - General (Europe)
We are an owner couple in our 60s. We just came back from 6 months sailing the Caribbean alone. Now we are looking for a 1s Mate / Captain / Caretaker.
The boat will be based in La Rochelle until next spring, when we plan to a trip round Britain. In the winter 23/24 another Atlantic crossing is on the schedule with some months of Caribbean sailing afterwards. Our future ideas include Middle American Coasts and Canada / Alaska.
We like sailing fast. In ARC January 2022 we were 4th boat home and second in our class - with only the two of us as crew.
Our future Crew should keep our beautiful boat in the meticulous condition it id now in, have the necessary qualifications to move it to where it is needed, and be a good team player when underway with us.
