Position:
Remote Operated Unmanned Vessel (ROUV) Operator
Description:
This is a dynamic role well suited to candidates who enjoy regular change and new challenges on the horizon!
Piloting a vessel thousands of miles away requires a candidate with a cool head strong problem solving skills and proven history of command.
As a ROUV Operator, you will be part of a dynamic fast growing team responsible for the safe navigation and operation of ROUV's internationally, this role requires a high level of bridge management, situational awareness, communication and dynamic assememt of risk. Technical knowledge of basic engineering, electrical systems and network is a must as candidates will work closely with the technical department on trouble shooting and development of ROUV's.
As part of the role the team regularly travel internationally for onsite launch, recovery and routine maintence of ROUV's, along with acting as a onsite operator. This requires a highly competent and organised individual, with a strong safety culture, able to deliver onsite HSEQ an manage subcontractors.
Due to the nature of operations candidates with a combination of both offshore and near shore operations are preferable as ROUV's are regularly utilised in shallow waters, strong tidal flows and areas difficult to navigate which take particular care and judgment.

Requirements:

Full UK driver licence
Competent towing a trailer upto 7m
Saftey focused
Competent It skills experience of MS software.
3 years minimum served as captain of power driven vessels.
Yachtmaster offshore (power) commercially endorsed
GDMSS GOC
ENG1
STCW basic package
MCA recognised RADAR and ECS or ECDIS

Master 200gt
ROUV experience
Slinger and banksman certification (experience with craning operations)
