New Adventures
Looking for a crew member for the 2024 season to help with the general running, sailing and enjoying life visiting islands, countries, enjoying the many cultures and its people.
Generally having a good time.
After a good spell of relaxing and cruising in the Caribbean I have transited the Panama Canal, sailed to the Marquises islands and now in Tahiti.
The next part is Tahiti and surrounding islands, Tonga, then down to New Zealand.
Will only be taking on crew that are sailing with me to New Zealand.
You will get those ocean hours you need for your next passage.
This will be my second sailing from Tahiti to New Zealand.
It would be to your advantage to be fit, slim and healthy and able to swim well so you can enjoy the experience more.
Any mental health and drug issues, running from life would be a disadvantage. No smokers.
I am easy to get along with and don't sweat the small stuff.
I love sailing and all it has to offer.
This is my third yacht. Have sailed around 38,000nm mainly around the Pacific, the Mediterranean and crossing the Atlantic.
My latest part of my adventure is Tahiti, (arrived there 10/04/2024) and surrounding Islands, Tonga then to New Zealand.
Potential crew members don't need to be great sailors as that is easily learnt with time but have many sea hours sailing on a yacht and have done night watches. What is important is fitting in well, keeping that spirit of cruising alive, a happy ship and crew is all I want.
As far as expenses go, I would like that you contribute to your own food, shore expenses, visa's, immigration, customs clearance etc and share the diesel fuel costs which isn't a lot as it is a sailing yacht.
This is a real adventure. Once in a lifetime opportunity.
Please contact me if this resonates with you.
