Caribbean with island hopping – Pacific
During 2022 I have sailed Portugal (Portimao) - Gibraltar - Alicante-Ibiza-Mallorca-Corsica-Valencia-Gibraltar-Madiera-Gran Canaria - Cape Verde as the first part of a circumnavigation. I cross the Atlantic with crew to Grenada in the Caribbean in January, 2023.
The route and plan for the next parts of the circumnavigation after that is as follows.
Starting early February 2023 it will be island hopping in the Caribbean between February and May, 2023, and December 2023 until May 2024. There will be stops for shorter or a little bit longer periods on the different islands in order to get to know them.
After two seasons the Caribbean the boat will go through the Panama channel and cross the Pacific.
Crew are welcome on separate parts or all of the plan above (provided mutual interest). A good mood, sailing experience with night watches and no problem with seasickness is needed. Beside male or female crew I’m also open for a relation with a women to share life at sea with.
The boat is a Hallberg-Rassy 42 (F mkII) equipped for long distance sailing (watermaker, Epirb, sattelite communication with Iridium and Starlink, liferaft, radar, AIS, VHF, large solarpanels etc).
I have sailed for many years in the Baltic and now I am doing long distance sailing more or less full time. This season I have sailed 2 000 nm in the Mediterranean. I have an apartment and office in Stockholm in Sweden where I am sometimes. I am a lawyer and I have grown up children. I am responsible, capable, reliable, uncomplicated and close to laughter. I exercise regularly and rarely drink alcohol.
