Cruising the east coast of Australia and Tasmania
I will be cruising north from the Gold Coast in August, and when the northerlies kick in head south to Sydney and the Pittwater. In December (subject to the weather) plan to sail across the Bass Strait to Tasmania and cruise there for the summer, heading back north when it turns cold!
There will be some sea passages so I’m looking for someone who is in good health, comfortable to do night watches and share in routine maintenance onboard.
I anticipate anchoring most of the time, but expect to be berthing in a marina every ten days or so.
Would suit someone who is prepared to participate in all aspects of sailing life, is tidy, does not have dietary restrictions, is a non-smoker, is considerate and enjoys a challenge.
I am not looking for a romantic partner, but a sailing buddie / travel companion.
I am a social person, love having people on board and going out, so if you are on a very tight budget this will not be for you.
If you’re interested in any parts of the trip, let’s chat. Experience is preferable but not necessary.
I’m looking for a solo traveller rather than a couple. You would have the aft cabin, shared head.
I will pay all the boat expenses, - food and marina costs to be shared.
