Wanted crew to join us on 1,349 nautical miles of Australia's most spectacular coastline

This adventure of a life time await someone who has 8- 10 weeks of time on their hands, a pocket that can contribute to costs and a heart big enough to hold so many life changing moments.

The wild and grandiose Kimberley coast line spans 1,349 nautical miles through the Timor sea, interspersed with inlets, estuaries, gorges, islands and reefs; the total coast line encompasses nearly 6,500 nautical miles. You will witness spectacular 12m tides turning low lying reefs into horizontal waterfalls, inlets that become a intertwined with whirlpools so intense that you appear to be inside a giant washing machine, and Australia's iconic highest cascading coastal waterfall "King George" at 84m .

We hope to find a couple or single person that would like to come with us aboard our 20m motor sailing vessel to share this once in a life time opportunity to explore this beautiful remote place, where ancient rock art was painted and engraved over 40,000 years ago, in places only accessible by boat.

Because of this regions remote, wilderness and our average cruising speed of 6 knots it will take us no less than 2 months to cover this voyage.

Will be in Broome, (Western Australia) between 12/15th June. (open to hanging there a little longer these dates don't work for you) where you will be able to join us and hopefully stay ideally until we reach Darwin around mid august.

COST:
Apart from your cost of transfer to Broome WA and return from Darwin NT, a contribution towards the cost of food and fuel, is all that you'll need.

Bear in mind that this is mainly a diesel motored vessel, with limited sailing capacity, making most of the cost fuel related.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
1 or 2 experienced or novice ocean lovers to join us. As you're already here, it goes without saying that you probably have a spirit for adventure. We are explorers at heart and social scholars by mind, so if your spirit for adventure comes with these traits, your company would make this trip all the more enjoyable. You will also need to be level headed, practical, mindful of others, a quick thinker, observant of situations, have a fun loving attitude, and engage well with others in sharing and learning.

We are wise and sensible, but with an added dry sense of humour, it would pay to have a good understanding of the English language less our jokes fall short of their intended light heartedness. This also stands important for clear communications in navigational instructions, especially in times when accurate and quick responses can be vital for safety.

We are not bias on age or gender.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE:
You will be required to assist in daily chores on board, such as meal preparation, general cleaning and watches. Where capable; assistance in sailing, motoring, navigation, mooring and general maintenance of equipment, will be appreciated.

WHERE WILL YOU SLEEP AND WHAT WILL YOU EAT.
You will have your own private berth with a double bed, sharing of 2 shower/toilets and enjoy gourmet food and snacks when prepared by your captain.
(There are 2 double berths and 1 master king berth on board).
Crew are welcome, if they desire to cook for everyone's pleasure.

We have lots of lots of fishing gear for the trip, but if you have a favourite rod or reel your welcome to bring aboard.

Our inflatable deck pool (2.5m diameter x .75 high) is great to cool off in when sharks or crocodile preventing a plunge in the ocean.

If you are a novice or even an experienced sea person and should choose, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and/or gain technical, nautical, engineering and culinary skills.

Please note that whilst we intend on making our passage when weather conditions are calm, some swell can cause seasickness for some people. This is not fun for anybody so please be mindful of this if you are new to this scene.
