MX Pacific Coast through Panama to Atlantic crossing to Portugal
I am currently preparing to sail south along the coast of Mexico and Central America to Panama, traversing the canal to then sail up the Western Caribbean to the US East Coast. After reprovision and maintenance I intend to cross the Atlantic in early summer.
I'm open for crew along the way and particularly the Atlantic crossing.
Lucia Aeterna is a simple boat, from the 70s, which means we are largely camping at sea. Adaptability and resiliency are very important in this crew. Ideally you are reasonably tidy while tolerant of some modicum of chaos as it may arise at sea.
I try to eat healthy and don't really like alcohol on board.
This would be my second Atlantic crossing. In sailing, we will aim for prudency first, while comfort and speed take turns as our main secondary concern, depending on our energy levels.
