Last minute call - from Cayman Islands to Grenada/Aruba

Hi everyone,

We have an extra cabin on our Leopard 48 for the journey and we would love to offer the opportunity, to someone (with at least a little experience) who is keen to help, to jump aboard and share the adventure with us.

The journey has 3 parts. The first departing from Cayman Islands May 15th to St-Martin (1100NM) arrival before June 8th with stops along the way probably in Jamaica and Dominican Republic. The second part will be more of a leisure run to Grenada (not sure where we will stop yet) with arrival in Grenada around the end of June. The 3rd part consist of a passage to the ABC Island, cruise around the ABC, Snorkelling, diving, exploring the Islands and return to Grenada for the end of August.

The crew that will take part for the whole duration will be me and my three children. For the first part my dad will join us. For the second part we will be joined by my mom. And finally for the 3rd part my wife will be with us. We are all experienced on the water, but have limited big boat sailing experience. We don't take unnecessary risks and are very conservative in our approach to sailing. We have sailed the west coast of Florida, The Bahamas and the passage to Cayman Islands (around 1500NM), and around the Cayman Island on the current boat. We are accommodating, chill and relax, love watching sunsets, but also love to be active, to exercise and to pack many activities in the same day. We are handy, doing most boat work ourself, good cooks (that includes the children), we love to eat healthy We are humble, friendly, energetic and sporty.

We are looking for someone to be an integral part of the journey and who can share some of the boat work, cooking, cleaning, watches and play/entertained the Children just as everyone else will, but that would also enjoy taking part in sports and activities. Kids age 6,11,11, so we really need someone who enjoy being around kids. The crew speaks English (main), French and Hungarian. I also need to say that they love Music and signing. It is a very lively crew, so bring your instrument along!

Equipement on board:
Sport/fun : Paddle board, Snorkelling gear, diving equipment and air compressor, Floating dock, Training bands, TRX band, yoga mat, surf boards, kitesurfing gear (1)
SAfety equipment : AIS, Radar, Life raft, flares.
Communication: Starlink for high speed internet, Garnin in reach, VHF
House: Bread machine, Blender, BBQ, Watermaker, Generator, enough solar for day to day electricity consumption.

We would privilege someone to join us for the whole duration of the trip (from May13th till end of August, 2000NM), but we understand that it would be a long commitment so we will also consider taking someone that can do only the first 2 parts of the trip (from 13th May til end of June) . We are willing to consider paying for the travel expenses and no expenses will have to be paid by the new crew for the duration of the trip.

If you would like to experience this journey with us and you think you have the right skills set and personality or have questions about the trip, the crew the boat, please don't hesitate to contact me ASAP as we are leaving the dock shortly!
