Captain - Permanent - Philippines
We’re looking for a pleasant, professional co-captain to cruise around with us in the Philippines on a private Leopard 44 sailing catamaran starting immediately.
The yacht is extremely well-equipped and upgraded with Starlink, air conditioning, advanced solar power and grilling systems and water gear for fun.
Currently at Subic Yacht Club in Subic Bay, Philippines and planning to sail a loose, flexible schedule around the Philippines with guests of the Owner/Captain immediately as it's now sailing season!
May include international travel to Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand later in the year.
In addition, we have a private sailing Sunreef 60 in Phuket, Thailand that will cruise around Thailand and then over to the Maldives that the co-Captain may be able to work on as well.
All crew would be expected to assist in keeping the yacht clean, safe and well maintained. Crew are also expected to be professional in both personal hygiene / appearance and attitude and work ethic to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone onboard at all times.
Captains are expected to have knowledge of and ability in everything they are overseeing the crew for. Perform Co-Captain/Captain responsibilities as follows:
- Responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the yachts in ocean, offshore and near coastal water
- Supervise crew and trains them on safe operation practices and safe maneuvering of yachts through various situations
- Must have the ability to respond to and direct others during emergencies
- Maintain cleanliness standards and functionality of the yachts
- Operate power tools and other equipment necessary to accomplish maintenance assignments
- Maintain confidentiality of the yacht's details (except for legal requirements) - name, location, itinerary, guests, crew, etc.
- Work beyond normal business hours and/or work on weekends or holidays if necessary
- Travel required
- Employees Supervised: 2-3 crew.
We’re more than happy to provide opportunities for training and development for crew members’ yachting career - from gaining nautical miles to learning to sail or cook - or to just give the right person some travel experience in exchange for good work onboard.

Excellent communication
I had an interview with Carly, she is kind, polite, with good communication skills. Even I was not the successful candidate, they informed me via WhatsApp. I hope we can work together on the future.
