2024 season UK to Med Cruising
Departure mid April
50ft Beneteau on her way to the Med for some long cruising.
As the journey to Central Med is quite long, it will be divided into several legs where some crew could change. Durint two of the legs (Porto to Barcelona, and Barcelona to Genoa) there are still few berths available. The first mentioned is about 14 days, the second 8days, leaving enough time for some tourism as well, as there are quite interesting stuff to see and experience in France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Italy.
The exact departure dates are plus minus 1 day (3rd and 18th of May), and the exact towns/places that are to be visited on the routes will depend, of course, on weather conditions. The route is currently decided up to Genoa only, and for further Med cruising the plan will be announced later (if there are available berths).
Regarding the crew level needed, no particular skill set needed. It can, however, be a very useful voyage for those seeking tidal miles, 60+nm passages, navigation or sailing practice, just mile building or even just getting into sailing.
Drinking while sailing or any kind of drugs on board will not be tolerated.
The yacht has 4 cabins and 4 heads, is fully security and safety equipped and prepared for offshore sailing.

Incredible time sailing with Dudi in the Sporades and Cyclades
I had an amazing experience sailing with Dudi (most of the rest of the crew were great to be with as well) for almost 2 weeks in the Sporades and Cyclades, it built up my confidence a lot and I look forward to sailing with him again (possibly in the English Channel for some tidal work next time).
