WANT BE A PART OF A SAILING COMMUNITY SAILING AROUND THE WORLD?
We are two catamarans sailing together. A Lagoon 570 named Caraibe Lady and a Sunreef 70 named Ocean Nomads. The skipper on Caraibe Lady is a Danish 22-year-old named Mads Fenneberg. He is a Yachtmaster, proficient in engine maintenance and has been a skipper for 9 months in the Caribbean in 2023. I, Mathilde, am his right hand on the 570.
On the Sunreef, we have the Aussie Geoff as the captain. He is an experienced sailor having lived the past 16 years at sea and the owner of both boats. Geoff's girlfriend is also on board.
Currently, the boats are located in Curacao where we are enjoying the last of the Caribbean life before the planned course towards Panama in March.
This is not a charter, we all chip in with daily chores. Contribution is $80USD/day covering EVERYTHING. Food and boat expenses, marine fees etc. Alcohol and daily snacks are tho individual expenses.
We will usually have 7-12 people on board the Lagoon, and the crew on the Sunreef varies. The ages range is from 19 to 50 years.
The boats are packed with equipment. We have everything from Scuba Pro diving gear, tons of harpoons, Hawaiian slings, lobster snares, fishing gear for trolling (both handlines and rods), three dinghies (100 hp, 40 hp, and 10 hp), kayaks, SUP boards, and much more. The boats also have all the safety equipment we need.
We share everything, both the fun and the not so fun work. We cook, clean and have experience together. So you must be up for that!

We don't have fixed expeditions. People come and go as it suits them and us, so write to us a bit about yourself, and what dates suits you, and we'll figure something out!
