44m Private Sailing Yacht - Pacific Based (Currently in US Waters)

Seeking 1st Engineer with sound knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and experience with PLC systems. Sailing experience is preferred but not essential.
Regular duties will be:
Inspect and service all vessel systems, engines, and components. Routine and emergency repairs on vessel systems and engine.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Maintain an exceptional standard of order and cleanliness in work spaces.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Additional Duties and Expectations
- The vessels engine room is spacious and well planned, however you must be physically fit, this role requires getting in, on and under everything and is physically demanding, please keep this in mind when you apply.
- Team Player is a literal requirement - required as part of your regular duties is assisting with light interior duties, crew laundry, galley assistance, interior and exterior cleaning. Interior maintenance is a team effort and everyone is required to contribute to maintaining the vessels excellent condition.
