Ahoy!
We, captain Marcel (52, German, ~25,000nm) and I (36, German, ~4,000nm), are planning the last two trips of this summer in Italy. The optimal crew size for the Aloha Kala 2 is 3-5 people, so we are looking for some additional co-sailors.
The plan is to enjoy la dolce vita to the max while bay hopping, enjoying good food and wine and having a good time together. We enjoy hiking, snorkeling, sightseeing and exploring the islands from sea- and landside. We have a broad interest in kind of everything, so having conversations starting with Tesla, continuing with fun facts about Scrooge McDuck and ending with Dutch Schlager will be normal.
You don't need advanced sailing skills; we can show you the ropes. More important is a mutual basis and a relaxed attitude. The skipper and I cook quite well, when you assure cleaning the dishes, you can be sure there will be always nice meals on the table :)
The current crew constellation: On the first trip Marcel has the bow cabin; a male friend takes one of the stern cabins and the third cabin is yours, maybe you will share the cabin with another female friend, but she hasn’t confirmed yet, so it is possible you have the cabin on your own. On the second trip the crew consists of Marcel, me and Michael, another friend. So you’d share the cabin either with Michael or me (cabins are pretty spacious). Not all people know each other, so don’t worry, when you join one of the crews. We will have crew videocalls to know each other a bit in advance.
The yacht has all sailing equipment you desire, plus amenities like paddle boards, air condition and a washing machine. Linen and towels are on board, so you can travel light.
About the costs: Marina fees, diesel and food are paid equally by the crew (skipper free). The plan is to mainly anchor and mainly sail, but of course we can't foresee the weather conditions etc. Be aware: This won't be a no/low budget trip. There won't be noodles with tomato sauce every day, but restaurant visits too. Calculate roughly 70-100€/day, all mentioned costs (marina, diesel, food & drinks on board, restaurant visits) included.
When you are interested, send me a message with a few lines about yourself, your sailing experience and your preferred time slot. Afterwards we can discuss further details and questions in a call.
Fair winds!
