Gold Coast - Lord Howe - Newcastle

Hello!

We are Ed and Liza seeking a competent crew member to assist us sailing to Lord Howe island.

Leaving from Southport Yacht Club (Gold Coast on the 9th of December (or there abouts) and returning to Newcastle for December 22nd.

Our boat is an Adams 16.5m shoal draft yacht, we cruise at 5 to 11 knots boat speed mand enjoy sailing. Reason for this ad is to find someone to help us share watch rotations on the delivery journeys and in return you will get:

700nm experience
7 days in lord Howe island with accomodation paid for (live on the yacht)
No need to buy airfares (but FR they are $1500 return, so it's a big saving).

Any questions please ask, we're pretty fixed on the dates as we want to get back for Christmas and also need to be back for the Sydney to Hobart race on the 26th of December.

We will pay for the fuel and the national park mooring fees, we would only like some contribution for food and snacks. You'll also have to arrange your transport to and from the boat (to Gold Coast + from Newcastle)

About us:
Ed: 34 years old, sailing since age of 4, 30,000Nm experience and boat owner. Maintenance manager.
Liza: 29 years old, sailing for 3 years, 2,000Nm experience offshore and dinghy sailing too. Talented cook!
