Mylady at anchor in Bermuda
A few day's ago the anchor went down in the habour of st George on Bermuda. And that after an 11 day voyage from Marigot on st Martin . The voyage had everything in it . From no wind so drifting and waiting for the wind to come back . To a gale with 30 to 35 knots of wind . But Mylady and her skipper enjoyed ever moment. From Bermuda I leave for the Azores by the end of this month or beginning of April. After a couple of weeks exploring the Azores I sail up north to Ireland.
Skipper and boat :
The skipper is sailing as long he can remember and is at home on the ocean with his boat – a compass 34 build in 1977 - for the last 33 years. The skipper is build in 1960 and has saltwater running trough his body. My profession was being a captain on Dutch cargo ships. ( I have a licence as master without any limits )
My boat – Mylady – is a good and strong boat and made her miles. I own her since 1991 and since then live aboard.
On board there is space for one female companion who has her own “ cabin “ forward.
A romance is not where I am after. Just a sailing companion.
