Captain - Permanent - Min exp 4 years - €5000 - Indonesia
We are looking for a captain for an Azimut Magellano 76. 2018
Private boat, will not be chartered.
95% only 2 pax on board (me and my wife)
while we are on the boat we expect you to be on the top of the game - professional and with high responsibility.
While we are gone we only expect you to do basic technical things for the boat mandatory maintenance, manage repairs and upgrades if needed. .
We usually spend two to three weeks on the boat and then the same amount of time back home in europe, that's the estimate , plans can change ,so can the timelines. Our main focus is water sports such as spearfishing, surfing , kitesurfing, diving etc.
We do not host parties on the boat.
We plan to travel around Indonesia, remote places to find empty waves for surfing , untouched spearfishing spots and explore uninhabited islands . etc
We do already have a mechanic/deckhand and a restaurant level Cook on boat , both experienced and professional, speaking native Indonesian and good English
Captain has to be in a good physical condition since there is a lot of diving and surfing equipment that needs to be carried around . We prefer candidates with Diving and surfing skills , so you can assist and help in our activities .
95% of the time we are anchoring near remote islands so captain should be familiar with choosing the right spot and retrieving stuck anchor using dive equipment if needed . As well sometimes we will need to tie yacht against shore tries and/or rocks . All diving equipment including compressor we have on boat.
When moving between islands we are towing 6m tender boat with us - so captain should have a skill to tow it in different weather conditions.
as a bonus - while we are sleeping or relaxing captain is allowed to do surfing, diving, spearfishing, foiling, wingfoiling, kitesurfing ect using our equipment including tender boat and jetski.
This is not a fancy port to port sailing. This is a chance to explore world together with us
