Atlantic crossing - Guadeloupe to Spain

If you are interested in sailing and making miles, I present a unique experience. You will join our crew to cross the Atlantic back in a 49 feet sailboat. Your only expense will be the flight. The crossing has the option of departing from Guadeloupe as the beginning of our passage, or Bermuda (first stop), whichever you prefer. Once we depart from there we will sail to Azores. If you still want to sail more miles with us, welcome!!! The boat will continue its passage to Spain (Palma de Mallorca). The boat is a beautiful Transpac 49 MK I ( built in 1989). The boat was refitted and deeply prepared to cross the Atlantic and stay there during the last season. Now, his owner has planned to have the boat in the Mediterranean. At the moment, we are two people aboard but we are open to welcome passionate crew willing to share this beautiful passage..

  • Boat descriptionThe boat is a beautiful Transpac 49 MK I ( built in 1989). The boat was refitted and deeply prepared to cross the Atlantic and stay there during the last season in Clarks Court Marina, Grenada. Now, his owner has planned to have the boat in the Mediterranean. At the moment, we are two people aboard but we are open to welcome passionate crew willing to share this beautiful passage. To make it possible, the boat is provided with the right equipment such as a power generator, solar panels, water maker, water heater and the engine which is a 150 HP Volvo Penta able to provide 7.5 knots of average speed (2019 with 500 hours). The real thing is that the boat is really thought for making miles and even its maneuver thanks to the bow thruster. In addition to this characteristics , the boat has the safety equipment required to cover these transoceanic passages and also the electronic system needed to ensure its professional pilotage and navigation. Regarding the crew accomodation the boat has 3 cabins (2 double bunks and 3 single bunks), two bath and the galley provided of gas stove and oven, 2 coolers, freezer and a BBQ up above on the deck. https://www.dere-yma.com
