My passages are for people who are serious about improving their sailing skills in a safe and sound blue-water vessel. You are committed to learning on the go, no seasickness, no medical issues, no addictions including tech addictions, no vegans or special diet requirements or food allergies.

Some sailing experience is a pre-requisite, with attitude and aptitude equally important. There is a daily contribution by you of US$100 that includes all your onboard expenses (food, utilities, fuel, permits) and excludes any land costs and mooring fees. You are responsible for your own land costs, arranging any visas in your own passport, which is valid beyond 2025, and your own sailing travel insurance. Maximum of 2 to 3 crew plus me the captain/owner.
You are mature respectful trustworthy and honest, clean fit and agile with no unmanaged medical issues. Strictly non-smoking non-vaping enthusiastic sailors with an easy positive and fun attitude welcome. Sadly after having to deal with the occasional challenging alcoholic, I now run a dry boat for first time crew.
No seasickness, no special diets and absolutely no alcohol, drug or technology addiction traits. You will enjoy an equal share in all activities including helming, sail handling, route planning, navigation, anchoring, dinghy handling, provisioning, food prep, cooking meals and keeping the boat clean and tidy. All crew will participate independently in all duties including any watch system as set by the captain. There will be plenty of time for relaxing, snorkeling, sunbathing, water sports, hiking, sightseeing and socialising.
Please ensure to also read my additional boat info and captain/skipper info, thank you. On confirmation you will be sent my recommended What to Bring brief, 5-page Safety Brief and Provisioning List.
Captain is a non-drinker, stable, trustworthy, knowledgeable and safety conscious with 25,000 ocean miles and 16 years of sailing experience. Excellent references available on request.

Thank you in advance for your interest.
Not enjoyable
Totally agree with everything said by Mazzy below! Do NOT consider paying to go on this boat. I sailed up the west coast of Sicily 18 months ago, and left the boat 3 days early ( as did another girl) on a 2 week trip, as I could not abide it any longer. Horrible atmosphere Jacqui is controlling, generally opinionated and fairly miserable, and no fun at all. She does not like to put the sails up. She steers the boat only on auto pilot, and does not like anyone else to take the helm. Pays lip service to involving crew in route planning, but the over rides everyone as she in fact already has a plan worked out. Food is well rationed and lunch is sparse. You are not really allowed to touch her supplies, despite the fact that the cost is supposed to cover everything. God help you if you put something back in the fridge in the wrong place, or if you don’t line up the cutlery in the draw neatly! !! AVOID!
