Norfolk to Newport Sail
I am halfway through a voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Newport, RI. I stopped in Norfolk, VA last weekend, and will resume the rest of the journey next weekend. My crew was mostly family, and they have other obligations over the Easter Weekend, so I am looking for a new crew to help me and my teenage son get MahNaMahNa to Newport. We will likely depart Norfolk on the morning of April 19th (Saturday) and arrive in Newport on the 21st (2 days passage depending on the weather).
MahNaMahNa is a 2021 Jeanneau 64 and a wonderful sailboat. We are not looking for a particular type of person, but prefer 2 or 3 sailors who like to sail, like to have fun, like people, don't like drama and have personalities. I don't care what political persuasion you are, as long as you show respect for others' differing opinions. I don't want to talk politics while we sail anyway (boring!). You will have to cover your travel expenses to Norfolk and From Newport, but I will cover all boat and meal related expenses. I will be driving from Jamestown to the Boston area when we are done, so maybe give you a ride to Boston (?).
