Crew Wanted: Sail from Galveston, TX to Ocracoke, NC aboard a Tartan 40

Ahoy!

We are seeking one adventurous, reliable, and easygoing female crew member to join us on an unforgettable passage from Galveston, Texas to Ocracoke, North Carolina aboard our Tartan 40 sailing vessel. We're full-time liveaboards with a deep love for the sea, freedom, and self-reliance.

Trip Details:

Departure: Flexible, weather window dependent (Spring/Summer 2025)

Route: Gulf Coast > around Florida > up the East Coast (mix of offshore and ICW)

Vessel: Tartan 40 – solid, well-equipped, and seaworthy

Estimated Duration: ~3-4 weeks, allowing for weather, exploration, and rest

What We’re Looking For:

Some sailing experience preferred (but not required if you’re a quick learner and have good vibes)

Someone who’s comfortable sharing space, open to shifts, and can help with watches, cooking, or general boat tasks

Must have a sense of adventure, a calm head, and a respect for the ocean

What We Offer:

Room and board covered on the boat

A safe, welcoming space with meaningful conversation, laughter, and shared purpose

A unique opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with the rhythms of the sea

If this resonates with you and you're looking to sail, connect, and experience the coast in a deeper way—reach out! Tell us a bit about yourself, your experience, and why this journey speaks to you.
