Crossing the Adriatic (Young Crew Wanted!)
Hey! We’re a Brazilian-Czech couple living full-time aboard Vera, our Bavaria Cruiser 37. We’re looking for a couple of easygoing, young and open-minded people (maximum a couple or two friends) to join us for a few days of sailing around Vis/Korcula and then bringing our boat from Vis to Puglia, in Italy. Think about a week onboard, more or less.
It’s a relaxed vibe onboard, we love exploring quiet anchorages, swimming, cooking together, and enjoying the simple life at sea. You don’t need sailing experience, just a good attitude and willingness to help out. Mostly we want someone to help us with the navigation watches, so everyone is well rested.
If you do have any hands-on experience with boats that’s a big plus!
We ask that you contribute for food, booze and fuel while you’re with us. Other than that, just come ready for a fun and real sailing experience.

What was originally supposed to be a few days of sailing around Croatian islands turned into 3 of the best weeks I’ve had! Gabi and Tereza are both very easygoing, kind, hospitable and truly a barrel of laughs. They both have a very calm and patient temperament and a lot of experience on the water so I always felt safe and I also learned a lot during my time onboard. I was particularly impressed by their ability to stay calm, communicating clearly and precisely whilst under pressure during a storm in which we saw 50 knots of wind! I feel I’ve made not only memories but true friends for life in these two and I do hope to get the opportunity to join them again one day !
