Looking for a partner to help me with the boat on a more longterm basis. Someone who likes to cruise for long strechs.
Aug 2026 Update: I first started sailing as crew on Crewbay years ago, even met my husband here. And have been sailing ever since. So I get the motivation to learn. I simply can't take on inexperienced crew ATM. Sorry.
At this point, I'm looking for an experienced boat partner/captain! Someone to help me with the boat more longterm. Looking for an experienced sailor and cruiser that likes to anchor out most of the time. Hopefully you want to travel the world in the near future, and you can leave for extended periods of time, or come back for another stretch regularly, or when your available, or someone who can work remotly, or anyone that as plenty of time... In reality, I'm really hoping to find someone that has THE dream... (if you have it, you know what I'm talking about ;) ... Somebody thats really motivated about this lifestyle.
This is an old fashion ocean crossing vessel. This boat as always been well maintained, and is rather comfortable. Its also self sustaineable. It's just a little to much boat for me, on my own.
Hopefully you should be able to help me fix anything mecanical. But It could also be anything from plumbing to electric, all the way to fixing the head, if we must. You know, just regular boat work, or upkeep as we go! It all depends on what we need at the time. But I'm also looking for someone that doesnt mind teaching me how to fix it as we go. So, I can solosail this big boat if I ever have to.
Also, I've been planing on building a website (and/or an app), as another remote work. So, I could use the help of someone with skills in building an online platform if that interrest you.
Im hoping to find my longterm partner. But we can build a friendship and go from there. Or we might decide to just keep sailing as friends. Its all good.
Im not opposed to finding a lady partner aswell, as long as she can help me with the skills I lack. That would be great!

- You can't get sea sick, or be unable to function.
- You need to be fit and agile. As opposed to overweight.
- NO one over the age of 55ish! Looking for people in my age group. Yes, I know its not easy to find!
- No beards please. Yes, it's a deal breaker!
- Obviously, there will be some contributions involved (to be negotiated: depends on what your helping with...).
I'm thinking of heading to the Caribbean: St-martin, Martinique for a while. (Or maybe, Isla Mujeres Mexico). Would like to head to Portugal, Spain next, and keep going that way. But Im pretty flexible on the plan at this point.
I'm in north Florida for this slow hurricane season. Trying to find someone easygoing, as it is life in somewhat tight quarters. Basicly, come and join me, so we can get to know each other before we go. Im looking for someone who can join ASAP. So, let me know when your available, and for how long.
