⛵️Crew Wanted – Early September Biscay Crossing: Brest to A Coruña! ⛵️
Hey sea adventurers!
We’re looking for one experienced sailor or a capable couple to join us aboard our 32-foot Wauquiez Centurion Fiasco for a Bay of Biscay crossing – sailing from Brest, France to A Coruña, Spain in early September (weather dependent). Perfect for mile-building just to experience one of the worlds great ocean passages!
Departure: Around early to mid September
Route: Brest → A Coruña
Duration: 3–5 days offshore
This is a proper offshore passage, so we’re looking for crew who are confident standing a solo night watch, comfortable at sea for multiple days, and good at working as part of a small, supportive team.
About us:
I’m John– RYA Yachtmaster Offshore & Cruising Instructor, and have taught sailing worldwide and sailed over 15,000nm across the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Atlantic, the Med, and the Caribbean. Sailing with me is Felicia, my partner, We’re both easygoing, safety-conscious, and love the ocean.
⛵️ About Fiasco:
She’s a strong, well-equipped 32ft Wauquiez Centurion with ocean miles under her keel with up to date comprehensive safety equipment (Liferaft/EPRIB/AIS/etc). Ideal with 3–4 crew. We keep things safe, simple, and fun – rotating watches, shared meals, and lots of coffee. ☕️
You’ll need:
– Sailing experience
– Ability to stand a solo or couples night watch
– Good vibes, teamwork, and a love of the sea
