Thailand to the Philippines
Hello, after a 4 month refit in Thailand, Kanaga is ready to start it's big adventure, with the goal of reaching remote Pacific islands before the end of 2025!
The first leg will be from Thailand, nearby the city of Hua Hin, to Puerto Princesa, Philippines. After a short break the boat will continue on eastwards through the Philippines before heading into the Pacific.
The trip to the Philippines should last around 2-3 weeks, including a short stop in Kudat, Borneo along the way. The total distance is just under 1400nm, with mostly tailwinds, a great trip for mile building!
There is a total of 3 crew already, including the skipper, and we have a total of 7 individual beds, so there is still plenty of space!
Crew are expected to help with day to day tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, helping with small fixes along the way, linework, day/night watches, etc.. the usual stuff.
No financial contribution is asked, but fuel & food costs will be shared.
After this trip and a very short break, Kanaga will continue eastwards through the Philippines, before heading into the Pacific. You can PM me for more info about that trip
