Cruising in Denamrk
I am open to shorter sail trips in the area of Randers Fjord and Mariager Fjord and the island of Anholt. Let me know if you'r interested in joining
I'm educated as a shipwright, and usually working part time reparing old wooden ships or houses and teaching woodworking. I have sailed since childhood, with dinghies, viking ships, old schooners... mostly wooden boats, but now I have bought a Marieholm 26. It is a fun boat to sail, and it is seaworthy and safe. It is also excellent for learning how to handle a sailboat
Costs for food provided onboard, harbour fees and fuel will be shared equally. - Additional to that I would like you to contribute with 10 euro per day. In total that usually sums up to 20 - 30 Euros per day.
Maybe it will be possible to help me with all the fixing and cleaning a boat always needs before heading out to new adventures, and then the financial contribute can be reduced.
Please notice that this is a small boat, so the comfort level isn't as high as in other and bigger boats. The cabin height is max 1,55 meter, and room for personal luggage isn't overwhelming.
The boat is equipped with an 3,5hp outboard engine, solar power, 12V DC and 230V AC(max.350W), a toilet, a small fridge, an alcohol stove with two burners, two good anchors, all basic navigational instruments and of course all needed safety equipment.
And a guitar :-)
The boat is primarily sailed using the sails, and the outboard motor is only used if absolutely necessary. (I really hate using it)
