Liveaboard/Cruising opportunity
We are currently sailing Southern California until next spring when we will begin sailing around the world. We have owned this boat for a couple of years and are familiar with California already. We just returned from a year in Mexico. Ages for the crew onboard are 42, 41, and 12. We are a married couple and have our daughter onboard. We also share the vessel with a dog and a toilet trained cat.
There is no cat litter box smell onboard.
We have surfboards, a paddle board, scuba and snorkeling gear. We also enjoy land based activities like skydiving and snowboarding.
The vessel is a custom performance world cruiser, a cutter rigged steel sloop. She is a flat bottomed and vented keeled racing design from Serge Testa (Current world record holder for circumnavigation in the smallest vessel). We make our own water and power. The boat sat for 15 years in Half Moon Bay until we purchased her. She has been hauled out 3 times since, and has been refitted with modern Raymarine touchscreen electronics, starlink, synthetic rigging, and autopilot. There are 4 staterooms and two heads. The crew members will have their own stateroom and share a head.
We are short-handed and looking for crew who wish to gain experience and miles living aboard and helping out with day to day tasks.
Shared costs will be negotiated between crew and owners, and we will draw up a written agreement everyone is happy with.
