Join me aboard a Vindö 40, a beautifully crafted Swedish sailing classic from the 1970s, for an autumn adventure around Lastovo and Korčula. The trip runs from late September until mid-October, a perfect time to enjoy the Adriatic when the sea is still warm, the light turns golden, and the summer crowds have gone.

This is hands-on, authentic sailing, not a motor cruise. We’ll set the sails, take the helm, and feel the steady rhythm of a full-keel yacht built for offshore passages. Along the way, there will be plenty of time for swimming in clear bays, snorkeling in quiet waters, anchoring in hidden coves, and exploring island villages at an unhurried pace. Evenings often mean sharing a meal on board at anchor, or heading ashore to a local konoba for fresh seafood and wine.

I’m looking for easygoing, adventurous people who enjoy the sea and are happy to share in the simple tasks of life on board. You don’t need to be an expert sailor—just open to learning, lending a hand, and embracing the slower rhythm of days at sea. Costs are kept simple, with food and fuel shared between us.
