Cruising around the Philippines
After a 6 month refit, Kanaga is ready to relaxedly cruise around the Philippines for the next few months before starting the next big trip, further East into the Pacific.
We are currently in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, and after a short break will be looking to move around, either north towards Coron, or East towards Negros oriental/Cebu. The plan is to get to Surigao del Norte or Davao City by mid December, at which point we will prepare for a bigger passage towards PNG.
Shared cost model, crew are expected to contribute 40$ per day, which includes food & fuel costs, port & immigration fees, and use of all gear on board. Crew are also expected to contribute to basic tasks related to boat life, eg; cooking/cleaning, day/night watches, sails & lines handling, etc... Contribution can be negotiated for skilled crew (eg: mechanic, videographer).
Kanaga can comfortably fit 7 people for longer term stays, but we are usually 5-6 at a time. There are currently 2 spots still open.
