Stew/Deck - Permanent - Barbados
Offering a stew/deck unpaid position to gain experience, on a 42ft catamaran sailing in the Caribbean.
We are 3 onboard, me and my parents, and they are the reason I'd like to have some help.
The primary duties are typical for a crew (and shared between everyone onboard) - navigation, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the old ones when I am not available.
I offer a private cabin with wc and shower, I cover all the expences including tickets, onboard and ashore. Could offer some training if needed, in any domain of boating.
The boat is in good condition, completely autonomous and does not require any work (and if it happens - i'll deal with it, except the emergencies in the open sea).
The current plan is to spend a couple of month on the Windward Islands, and then sail to Panama and then to Pacific. The current offer is valid till arrival to Panama, but if everything is ok and everyone is happy, I could offer a paid position to continue to Pacific.
No smokers, no alcohol when the boat is moving, valid seamans book is a plus.
