Even though the vessel is robust, load management is important. Over-loading (too many adults, heavy gear) affects stability/motion and performance. With twin hulls and wide beam, the behaviour in heavy seas and large waves can be different from monohulls — e.g., less motion damping, risk of slam. Pre-passage planning is key. Regular maintenance of safety gear (liferaft servicing, EPIRB battery expiry, fire extinguishers validity) is essential. For an internship context: ensure learning & drills (man-overboard, communication, emergency protocols) are included. The vessel provides good platform but human factor matters. In tropical regions (like Thailand), attention to anchorages, weather, tides, and reef/marine protection is important (coral, shallow groundings) — the shallow draft helps, but you still need good awareness.
