Southbound For Puerto Vallarta
After 4 years of working through restoring my Westsail 42, I'm on the southbound journey. Currently in the San Francisco Bay Area and wrapping up a series of repairs that emerged from the north pacific shakeout heading from Seattle south. I'm a solo sailor, and comfortable with running this boat, but also looking forward to sharing the experience with like minded travelers.
Crew will be expected to help with the daily tasks of running the boat, sailing, cooking, cleaning, and basic maintenance as required. We may do some overnight passages depending on requirements and the crews input.
I'm 40 years old, and would like to have crew within a reasonable age range of myself that enjoy the same sort of lifestyle. Fishing, snorkeling, diving, exploring islands. Chill personalities that enjoy good banter and a good book.
The initial leg of the trip will be down to San Diego, and after handling insurance and entry procedures, the boat will progress down the Baja coast to Puerto Vallarta.
I will handle all costs of running the boat, primarily spending time on anchor. Food and beverage costs will be shared amongst the crew.
