Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - Thailand
Hello, my name is Jose , I'm a doctor and a sailing enthusiast. We recently launched a custom-built 63-foot catamaran, powered by solar/wind electricity and a bow kite (no traditional sails), and highly automated. It has five cabins with ensuite bathrooms and a crew cabin, and is currently in Thailand. I'd like to spend a few days in the Philippines area and then embark on a long voyage to the Caribbean, with the route still to be decided, meaning about 5-6 months of sailing. I plan to board in Thailand during the first half of January. I'm currently looking for a crew with some experience, but not necessarily professional, so we can all contribute our skills and expertise on board for a smooth voyage. Initially, I'd prefer a certified yacht captain with extensive ocean cruising experience, and then additional crew members depending on our contributions. We're looking for calm, non-smoking people who maintain a respectful attitude towards each other. Once we reach our destination, we'll arrange a luxury charter, and if both parties are interested, the captain and perhaps other crew members would then charge for their services.
