This is a rare chance to sail a fast, ocean-proven 52’ performance yacht across the Atlantic with an experienced professional skipper — a proper bluewater passage for those craving real adventure.
We have 3–4 crew spaces available, on a shared contribution-to-cost basis, for an epic journey from Belém, Brazil ??, via the British Virgin Islands ??, all the way to the UK ??.
The boat
Sababa is a 52’ Bruce Farr IMS50, built for speed and serious offshore sailing — a powerful, exciting yacht that rewards teamwork and curiosity.
Rough plan (with ocean flexibility)
• Belém departure: mid-February (please arrive before 14 Feb)
• BVI departure: mid-March
• UK arrival: mid-April
Life onboard is vegetarian, drink- and drug-free, with up to 8 people total sharing watches, meals, stories, and the magic of life at sea.
Some sailing experience is a plus, but not essential. What matters most is a sense of adventure, openness, and a willingness to contribute to life onboard — from trimming sails to cooking, learning, and supporting each other on passage.
This is an early-season North Atlantic crossing — expect powerful weather, long horizons, night watches, and moments you’ll never forget. Safety always comes first, and the itinerary remains flexible to suit conditions.
