From Questions to Quiet — A Passage with Alex
I knew Alex only through Crewbay, and I always have some doubts about meeting people via online platforms. After the first day, I realized I was asking him too many questions. So I stopped, looked at the waves, listened to the wind… and things suddenly felt right again. We understood each other. During our two-week passage from Lisbon to Gibraltar, it took about a day to settle in. By the end, we said goodbye as friends. Alex is a very precise skipper with excellent planning — route, course, wind, and local conditions (like the Guadalquivir area with its short, sharp, sometimes breaking waves). He handles sails and the boat with confidence and control. After entering the Strait of Gibraltar we were running downwind under full sail — which felt like a good, almost poetic ending. I like the sea. I like cooking. I like the landscape. Alex shares similar values. We caught bonito while trolling, and the captain made sashimi. Fresh fish from the Atlantic Definitely I´ll come onboard again :)

Reliable skipper and nice boat
I've joined Alex on his north sea route between Germany and Holland. Everything was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend the boat and the owner.

Fantastic boat and skipper
I went on a trip in the North Sea with Alex, and everything went smoothly! I gained a lot of sailing experience from him. He is a nice teacher and a friend. Thank you!

Spanish Coast Sail
Really enjoyed my five-day sail with Alex down the northwest Spanish coast. We were able to do plenty of sailing. We stopped the boat in marinas and anchorage and did some fishing along the way. Alex was a super host. The boat was big, clean, well-maintained, and well-rigged. I travelled alone and was able to pay a little extra and get my own cabin, which was really welcomed and made me have a place to relax and retreat to when we were staying in one place for a few nights. I would recommend sailing with Alex
