Sailing around the world starting in the Caribbean!

We are easy going couple, Thomas and Shimmi, on our second trip sailing around the world.

We are currently sailing in the Caribbean, Grenada . From August we head towards Panama with stops in the ABC islands and Colombia. The journey continues from Panama to Gambier in March 2027 with a longer stop in Tuamotus and Marquesas for the 2027 season.

We are looking for easy-going long-term crew without strict timeline who want to share the adventure rather than simply hitch a ride. We are not looking for crew to sail or do the maintenance on the boat for us, as the boat is already well maintained and can be run single handed, although willingness to participate is appreciated.

Crew are expected to pay contribution to sail with us.

June 15 - August 10 - Granada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines
August 15 - September 30 - ABC Islands
October 1 - November 30 - Colombia
December 1 - February 28 - Panama

Pacific season 2027
March 1 - March 31 - Crossing to French Polynesia

  • Boat descriptionThe boat is a Bavaria 44 from 2003. We bought her some years ago and have carried out an extensive upgrade and added equipment to make life on board more comfortable such as, solar panels, watermaker, autopilot and freezer. On board all necessary safety equipment for ocean sailing such as life raft, AIS and EPIRB to name a few. She has 4 separate cabins, 2 heads and a spacious saloon. She can sleep up to 8 ppl, but mostly we sail with max 4(-6) persons on board. This means crew get their own private cabin. The yacht can be run single handed, so it’s not mandatory to come with sailing experience, just some willingness to participate and bring your own skills.
