Aegean 600 2026
The Aegean 600 takes us through the legendary waters of Homer's Odysseus, Achilles, Athena, ..., i.e. the Aegean Sea for short. 600 nm at race pace, non stop from Cape Sounio at the Poseidon Temple via Milos, through the caldera of Santorini, past Kassos, Karpathos stays at Bb, than a kind of slalom round Rhodes (Bb), Nisyros (Stb), Kos (Bb) and then past Kalymnos and Pharmakonisi to Agathonisi, on to Mykonos and finally around Kea back to the finish in front of the Poseidon Temple.
The race takes place at the beginning of July, so sufficient wind is almost certain. And it doesn't get cold either.
You should bring some sailing experience, preferably on the foredeck, racing experience would help. You will be part of our racing team and integrated into a watch as trimmer/driver/bowman.
We will start with preparing the boat for racing after the delivery from Izola (SLO), then have some training days together on the water, start on Sun July 5th, we expect to finish on Thu July 9th, the closing event with price giving will be on Sat July 11th.
