Sailing around Bahamas, then to Canada
Looking for 2-4 crew who can help with a sail to Canada in the next few weeks or so (we're currently in the Bahamas waiting for a weather window). We would like to meet up beforehand, so you could be sailing around the Bahamas with us for a few days or a week depending on weather. We expect a 6-7 day passage from the Bahamas to Canada, planning at 8.5-10 knots/hr.
We can teach anyone how to sail, but ideal crew will be able to do a night watch, be keen to learn the ropes, is tidy, and can cook vegetarian meals. Ideally, you'll also have sailed before so we know if you get sea sick before an ocean passage.
There are two cabins available. Strangers will not be required/asked to share a bed. We'll only take 4 crew if it's two couples. Though there is a sofa that's wide enough to sleep on as well.
You must have a valid passport and be able to enter Canada.
No smoking even off the boat. No drinking at sea. No coming back to the boat drunk. No drugs.
Contribution is $20/day unless you help out with the cooking and cleaning and boat jobs. Then it's zero.
