Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - United States

Sail Door County is seeking a captain to join our team for the current 2026 summer sailing season.

We offer 4 two-hour sightseeing & sunset tours & private charters per day.

We have four vessels, including the USCG Inspected tall ship the Edith M Becker, a 65' wooden schooner built in 1984. We also have a sailor's favorite, the Cal40, a beautiful Pearson Rhodes 41', and a 51' chinese junk-rig called the Friendly.

Liveaboard available in a beautiful marina with great facilities. Door County is a wonderful place to spend some summer months. Competitive pay & well heeled and generous customer base offering fantastic tips!

Candidate must have minimum USCG OUPV/6Pack or 25 Ton Master with sailing endorsement.

If you are interested in joining us for a short-term stint within our season, we are open to hearing your available dates, even if you are not available for the entirety of our season until October!
