SAIL & DIVE BUDDY WANTED – TAHITI TO NEW ZEALAND (JULY–NOVEMBER 2026)
I'm a 43-year Dutch sailor, entrepreneur and father of two teenagers back home in the Netherlands with my wife. I work remotely a few hours per week from the boat and combine a serious approach to safety and seamanship with a relaxed and adventurous lifestyle.
I enjoy sharing experiences, exploring islands, diving and spending time together, but I also value personal space and occasional quiet time. I'm technically minded and invest a lot of attention in maintaining and improving the boat. Safety, preparation and good decision-making are important to me.
THE BOAT
Jeanneau 53 (2010), extensively refitted over the past three years and maintained to a high standard.
On board:
Private guest cabin with own toilet
Watermaker
Lithium electrical system
4 complete dive sets
Dive compressor and tanks
Multiple kiteboarding sets
Well-equipped for offshore cruising
THE VOYAGE
Departure: late June / early July 2026

Tahiti – Society Islands – possibly Suwarrow – Tonga – possibly Fiji – New Zealand.
The exact route will depend on weather, timing and conditions.
The objective is to bring the boat safely to New Zealand while enjoying everything the South Pacific has to offer: sailing, diving, kiteboarding, hiking, exploring islands and cultures, learning new skills, making ocean miles and sharing a memorable adventure.
