Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp 6 years - General (Europe)
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and hands-on Captain for a privately owned Sunseeker Predator 82. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the safe operation, navigation, maintenance, and management of the yacht, crew, and guests.
This is an urgent replacement position requiring immediate availability.
Responsibilities
* Safe navigation and operation of the yacht at all times.
* Voyage planning and weather routing.
* Management of all onboard maintenance and technical systems.
* Supervision and leadership of crew.
* Ensuring compliance with flag state, port state, and maritime regulations.
* Budget control, purchasing, and record keeping.
* Guest hospitality and owner liaison.
* Coordination with shipyards, contractors, and suppliers when required.
* Maintaining the yacht to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Requirements
* Valid Master of Yachts / commercially endorsed captain’s license appropriate for the vessel.
* STCW certification and all required seafarer documentation.
* Previous command experience on motor yachts of similar size.
* Strong Mediterranean cruising experience.
* Excellent boat handling, docking, and anchoring skills.
* Solid understanding of yacht engineering and maintenance.
* Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
* Fluent English required. Additional languages are an advantage.
* Ability to start immediately.
