Long-term liveaboard cruising / shared adventure
I’ve been living aboard and sailing long-term for many years, covering the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean, Panama and the Pacific. My boat is currently in New Zealand after time in French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji.
I’m not really looking for casual mile-building crew or someone just wanting a holiday berth. I’m more interested in meeting someone with a genuine curiosity for the cruising life — slow travel, quiet anchorages, exploring ashore, swimming, markets, simple food, good conversation and letting plans evolve with weather, places and people.
The boat is a comfortable, well-equipped 42ft monohull set up for independent cruising. I’m practical and self-sufficient, but I’ve learned that the best parts of this life are usually better shared with the right person.
Fiji still feels unfinished, and future plans may include Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australia or wherever the next chapter leads. I’m flexible on timing and direction.
Ideally I’d like to connect with someone independent, calm, curious and good-humoured — someone who enjoys the water, can live simply without needing hardship to be the point, and understands that good onboard chemistry matters as much as sailing ability.
