Overview
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Chef / Steward(ess) to join a private Sunseeker Predator 82 cruising in Greece for the summer season.
This is a hands-on position ideally suited to a candidate who enjoys working on a smaller yacht and is comfortable assisting across multiple areas of the vessel. The primary responsibility is preparing high-quality meals for the owner, family, and guests, while also assisting with interior duties and, when required, supporting basic deck operations.
The yacht is privately operated with a family-oriented atmosphere and no charter activity.
Primary Responsibilities
Chef Duties (Primary Role)
* Plan and prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and refreshments.
* Provision and manage food inventories.
* Source high-quality local ingredients throughout Greece.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic galley.
* Cater to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
* Prepare healthy, fresh Mediterranean-style cuisine as well as international dishes.
* Manage galley budget and provisioning records.
Interior / Steward(ess) Duties
* Guest cabin preparation and daily housekeeping.
* Laundry and ironing.
* Interior cleaning and presentation.
* Table setting and service.
* Guest hospitality and assistance when required.
* Stock control for interior supplies.
Deck Assistance (Occasional)
* Assist crew during docking and mooring operations when required.
* Basic line handling.
* Assist with fenders and guest embarkation/disembarkation.
* Help maintain overall yacht cleanliness and presentation.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a yacht chef or chef/steward(ess) on yachts between 20m and 35m.
* Strong cooking skills with emphasis on fresh Mediterranean cuisine.
* Comfortable working independently in a small crew environment.
* Positive attitude and team player.
* Experience with family-oriented private programs.
* Organized, clean, and detail-oriented.
* Comfortable assisting both interior and basic deck operations.
Required Qualifications
* Valid STCW certification.
* Valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent).
* Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
* Previous yacht experience required.
* Good spoken English.
Crew Environment
This is a small, professional crew environment where flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute beyond the galley when needed while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
