**Updated** Crew for occasional weekend or longer trips
**Although I have to keep this advert “live” so that I can communicate with potential crew, I think I have already had sufficient folk express interest for this year. Watch this space for next season!**
Seeking enthusiastic, energetic crew to join me on my Westerly Oceanlord for local sailing and possibly longer trips.
Being less nimble than I used to be, I can no longer jump ashore with lines, or even move quickly around the deck - so this is an opportunity for novice crew to find out what sailing is all about, on a well-equipped cruiser, under the guidance of a retired sail training skipper.
There would be the possibility of becoming more regular crew for those who want to develop their skills and knowledge further.
Costs will be shared through a nominal daily contribution to the cruise “kitty”, typically £25 per head with four on board, but varying according to the number of people on a particular trip.
