I Need help sailing/motoring a 50' william garden ketch frpm northern Washington to San Diego, Ca. (7-9 days)
I will also be continuing on to Guaymas, Mexico with day stops between San Diego and the final destination.
Need one, two, or three extra hands to help keep watch along the way.
I will pay for crew who have experience with the route or area I intend to sail and with piloting 20+ tonn sailboats. Certificates and licences are great but, im more looking for someone who actually knows what they are doing, not just a pretty resume.
Rates of pay and transportation to and from will be negotiated on an individual basis.
I am also looking for a couple of deck hands who want to gain experience, skill, and miles, who are also somewhat bright and speak fluent english. As long as you want to go, and you're not lazy, bad manored, or not hygenic, we'll take ya to San Diego..
Can do whole trip or parts, depending on your avalibility and how we get along.
I am an easy going guy from Hawaii in my late 40s and fit and active. I like to hike, bike, kayak, swim, and ride skateboards. I am into adventure and experience. I am a good story teller and have a lot of accumulated skills and knowledge from life. I write music, poetry, and non fiction. I play hand drums and percussion instruments.
I am easy to get along with but if I don't like someone, I will sort that out right away. I have no time for drama kings or queens.
