Captain - Permanent - Min exp 6 years - $3000 - Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Manage and operate boat as it will be used by the Owner and family and guests for
weekends and few longer trips whenever required
- Controls the operation of the vessel when underway and ensure all necessary safety
precautions are taken whilst operating boat
- Responsible for all boat equipment, including trouble shooting, operation and fixing
- Maintain spare parts inventory. Identify and order needed parts, maintain tracking system.
- Attending breakdowns and initiate corrective action
- Sound knowledge in mooring lines, marlin spike techniques, splicing
- Maintenance of the windlass of the ship to ensure its optimum performance during stations.
Also, to perform repair work on board as required
- Full knowledge of navigation system and operations
- Attends to jet skis, tender boat, and any marine equipment related to yacht
- Being thorough with the firefighting aspects of the boat and ensuring safety
- Works closely with the owner and guests, and has a comprehensive understanding of their
needs by being friendly and courteous manner when interacting with guests and crew
- Required to work odd hours, followed by time off
- Responsible for carrying out daily duties such as repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting
marine diesel engines, transmissions, HVAC, plumbing, pumps (gear, worm, centrifuge, etc.)
tanks, and other related mechanical and electrical equipment
- To be, at all time, ready to take charge of all jobs, and the responsibility of these jobs
