I’m looking for a young, active female crew member who would love to experience island-hopping and learn about sailing along the Queensland coast.
We’ll be sailing from Great Keppel Island towards the Whitsundays, exploring beautiful islands along the way. The itinerary will stay flexible because weather and sailing conditions always come first.
I’m looking for someone who is:
✨ Active and happy to get involved
✨ A good listener and willing to learn
✨ Clean and tidy
✨ Respectful of the boat, nature and other people
✨ Easy-going, responsible and happy to share the daily life onboard
This is a hands-on sailing adventure — not a holiday where you simply sit back and enjoy the ride! ? Crew are expected to participate in sailing, help with things on deck, keep the boat tidy and share the everyday jobs that come with living aboard.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to learn sailing, explore islands, swim, snorkel, fish, meet people and experience the freedom of life at sea. ???
? Boat expenses: AU$40 per day per crew member.
This contributes towards diesel, petrol, outboard oil, cooking gas and water.
?️ Food: We share the food and meals onboard.
I love having people onboard who are curious, respectful and genuinely interested in learning. You don’t need to know everything about sailing — being willing to learn is much more important. ?
