Deckhand - Permanent - General (Europe)
We are looking for a motivated, all-round Deckhand to join the crew of a beautiful Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran, cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being hands-on, thrives in a small, close-knit crew, and takes pride in delivering true five-star service to guests.
Cruising Grounds
Mediterranean (mid-May – October)
Caribbean (mid-November – mid-April)
Possible Atlantic crossings (November/April)
What You'll Do
Assist the Captain with mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations
Handle mooring lines, fenders, and sails as needed
Keep the deck and exterior spotless — washdowns, cleaning, polishing
Support tender operations and water toys/watersports equipment
Help with table setting and guest service during meals
Maintain the yacht's interior and exterior to the highest standard
Handle fine tableware, glassware, and equipment with care — understanding the standards expected on a private yacht
Assist with provisioning and stock management
Maintain safety equipment and take part in safety drills
What We're Looking For
3 years of experience as a Deckhand
Experience on sailing yachts/catamarans required
Understanding of the difference between charter and private yacht service — private yachts call for extra attention to detail and closer interaction with the owner
Eager to learn and grow, with a genuine willingness to pitch in wherever needed
Honest, discreet, and reliable — someone the owner can fully trust
Flexible and adaptable, while maintaining professional distance with owner and guests
Good physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude
Languages
English — required
Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian — a plus
Vessel: Sunreef 60 (sailing catamaran)
