67ft Private Catamaran | UK Flag | Mediterranean & Caribbean | 2:2 Rotation
S/Y Manta is a 67ft private catamaran operating an exciting dual-season programme, cruising the Mediterranean during the summer and heading to the Caribbean for the winter.
We are now looking for a second crew team to join our established rotation, with a start in early November 2026.
We are looking for either:
• A Captain & Deck/Stew couple
or
• A Captain and Deck/Stew who are not a couple
Both options are welcome. What matters most is finding two experienced, mature and positive individuals who can work exceptionally well together.
THE ROTATION
2 months on / 2 months off
The successful candidates will join an existing team, creating a genuine long-term 2:2 rotation.
Flights are included.
CAPTAIN
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Captain who enjoys the responsibility and lifestyle of a private yacht.
Requirements:
* Minimum Yachtmaster Ocean
* STCW
* ENG1
* Solid practical seamanship and yacht-handling skills
* Experience on catamarans of a similar size is a strong advantage
* Excellent spoken English
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Professional, safety-conscious and proactive approach
The ideal candidate is confident operating the yacht independently while also being a strong team player.
DECK / STEW
A true 50/50 Deck & Stew role for someone who enjoys both life on deck and looking after guests and the interior.
Requirements:
* Previous yacht experience
* STCW
* ENG1
* Powerboat Level 2 / tender driving qualification
* Good deck and tender-handling skills
* Comfortable with interior and guest service duties
* Basic cooking experience
* Excellent spoken English
Italian, French or Spanish would be a valuable bonus.
LIFE ON MANTA
Manta is a private yacht with zero charter, used exclusively by the owners, their family and guests.
There are normally up to 8 guests on board.
The atmosphere on board is relaxed and professional, with a strong emphasis on privacy, trust, teamwork and high standards of care.
The programme offers the opportunity to experience two very different cruising seasons:
